HealthGrad.com welcomes you to become part of our expert writing team by submitting articles directly to HealthGrad.com. This is a great way to share your professional healthcare expertise and insights with new students and professionals entering the healthcare field.
Follow these guidelines when you submit your articles, and read the FAQs for more specific answers.
Submitting An Article
Address: Submit your completed articles to firstname.lastname@example.org/. You will receive a response if we are interested in your submission. Our editors will review your submission, and if you are approved as a guest contributor we will contact you as soon as possible, always within 3 business days. If you are not contacted within this timeframe your submission has been declined.
Length: Articles must be 1200 – 2000 words. The average word count per article on our website is 1100.
Format: All submissions should be written in clear, standard English. Articles should be written in a conversational, non-technical tone. Use short paragraphs, which are easier to read on a computer screen. Scan existing articles on HealthGrad.com to gain an understanding of the style and formatting of what we expect.
- Must include bullet points to break up the content.
- Use bold subheadings for long articles. They break up large paragraphs of text.
Promotional Links: Articles cannot have advertorial/promo links in the body and must cite sources throughout the article. You may also simply include your sources at the end of the article.
Bio: Please include a short bio with your Twitter handle and any other contact info. Articles cannot be accepted without a bio.
Topic: Anything within your expertise or interest that’s health education related.
Submitting an Article Already Published
All articles must be original and not posted anywhere else before being accepted.
